Marshmallow: this root is our signature herb and is one of our key ingredients. Being both soothing and protective, it moisturises the skin, giving it a soft, silky feel.
Calendula: as a fantastic conditioner for irritated or sensitive skin, this is also one of our most important herbs.
Comfrey: this herb repairs and renews and, as it contains allantoin, is great for improving the elasticity of the skin.
Starweed: we love this other name for Chickweed, as it highlights the beautiful flower so often unnoticed in this common edible green weed that grows over our fields. It softens and soothes all skin types.
Hypericum: also known as St Johns Wort, this herb makes a fabulous blood red oil that soothes aches and inflammation.
Echinacea: a mildly astringent herb, it is well suited for younger skin.
Horse Chestnut: the properties of this herb are excellent for the toning of veins and capillaries and promote circulation to the skin.
Ginkgo: anti-oxidant and skin conditioning.
Chamomile: a good cleansing and soothing herb which improves blood circulation in skin tissue, and can reduce inflammation.
Meadowsweet: a soothing herb, that also contains salicylates which can help relieve aching muscles and joints.
Mullein: has a natural anti-wrinkle effect on ageing skin.
